© XuRxOAdded features in gadgets do not compliment the utility of the products. Multitasking is the key to success and the very idea of the line between gadgets blurring is alarming. The launch of a musical refrigerator or a refrigerator with TV installed in it will not change the utility of the gadget. The manufacturers of these gadgets and the advertisements should know what is that the consumer wants.
In the race to differentiate them, the manufacturers are changing the features of the gadget. We began with communication gadgets like GPS, music systems, etc. and now we have exchanged the gadgets with human brains like remembering important dates and appointments to even simple arithmetic calculations. So when a gadget like mobile phone is lost it brings amnesia to human beings. Cleverly lulling the human brain into ceding ground is the reason for the mobile phone success. Therefore, adding features to the gadgets do not directly complement the needs of a user.
