Escalated Sales of Electronics Gadgets

Discounts and offers on all electronic gadgets have escalated the sales of led by TVs, digital cameras and video game consoles. Low leaders of small screen TVs have failed to sell their electronic gadgets briskly as expected. While tablet computers have gotten buzz as the hot new holiday product, well known electronic gadgets such as televisions, digital cameras, laptop computers and digital music players sold well on Black Friday weekend -- thanks to discounts that proved too tempting for shoppers to ignore to buy electronic gadgets. Consumer electronics trailed only clothes as the most popular gifts purchased. Forty-eight percent of shoppers bought electronic gadgets over the weekend. A 30 percent increase in purchasers this year over last year and passed computers as the most popular electronics category, excluding video games," said Baker.
