MS Kinect Makes Gadget News By Breaking Record

Microsoft's Kinect has made gadget news history by becoming the fastest-selling tech gadget of all time, racking up sales of 10 million units since its launch in November.

It is the first mass-produced device that allows for motion and voice control of a video game console without the need for a controller. The devices success has gained it a spot in the Guinness Book of Records by beating the previous sales record set by Apple's ipad. Considering the strength and diversity of the modern day tech sector, and all the competing gadgets out there, it is an incredible achievement for any gadget to achieve the top sales spot. Guinness has confirmed that Microsoft has sold eight million units of the device in its first two months on the market, for an average daily volume of 133,333.
