R600 Radeon HD 2900 XT采用80nm工艺生产，最大功耗约215W，晶体管数量7亿个，包含320个统一流处理器，像素处理能力每秒约47.5 GigaPixels，另外还有16个纹理单元和16个光栅化引擎，核心频率740MHz，浮点运算能力475 GigaFLOPS；搭配显存为512MB GDDR3，频率1.65GHz，位宽512-bit，带宽106GB/s；提供两个DVI-I接口，但可以通过转接器支持HDMI输出，提供高清视频和5.1声道音频。
